What to know
- Part of the municipality lies in Sharri National Park, which covers 53,469 ha across five municipalities: Kaçanik, Shtërpcë, Suharekë, Prizren and Dragash.
- The Hisar of Kastërc, about 12 km north-west of Suhareka, is a fortified archaeological site.
- The Church of St Mary in Mushtishtë is thought to have been built around 1315.
