What to know
- At Vrellë, about 7 km west of Istog, excavations in 2010 uncovered an early Christian church of the 4th–6th centuries.
- The ancient site at Banja e Pejës, about 12 km north-west of Peja, was found by chance in 1974 during the building of a hotel.
- The Church of St John in Cerkolez, about 10 km from Istog: the heritage database records two datings, the 14th century (1355) and the 17th century.
